Powered by a CR2032 button battery (included), the LTS CozyCheck connects easily via Bluetooth to your Equine LTS App, available on the App Store and Google Play. Simply scan your device, name it, and set your ideal temperature and humidity alerts — both high and low. The app lets you monitor multiple CozyChecks and see, at a glance, which ones are within range.
The Thermo-Neutral Zone (TNZ) for most horses is between 5°C and 20°C (40°F–68°F) — the comfort zone where your horse can regulate body temperature naturally. However, every horse is unique. Breed, age, coat, and whether they’re clipped all play a role. By using LTS CozyCheck, you can understand your horse’s personal comfort range and adjust rugs accordingly.
When humidity rises above 99%, your horse is sweating — struggling to release excess heat. If the temperature under the rug exceeds 30°C (86°F), your horse is likely too hot. With CozyCheck, you’ll see these changes immediately and can act fast to keep your horse healthy and happy.
