Instant Cooling for Horses
LTS KoldAid is a convenient, ready-to-use cooling patch designed for targeted cooling of your horse. No freezer, ice or cold water is required. The patch begins cooling when opened and provides a cooling effect for up to 4 hours.
Each box contains
- 10 × LTS KoldAid cooling patches
- 10 × LTS CoverAid
Each KoldAid patch is intended to be used together with one CoverAid to help keep the cooling patch securely in place.
How to use LTS KoldAid
- Open the package
Remove one LTS KoldAid patch from its packaging when you are ready to use it. - Remove the plastic film
Carefully peel off the protective plastic film from the KoldAid patch. - Apply to the desired area
Place the KoldAid patch directly onto the clean, intact skin of the area you wish to cool. - Secure with LTS CoverAid
Place one LTS CoverAid over the KoldAid patch to keep it securely in position.
Do not stretch the CoverAid when applying it. Apply it in a relaxed position so that it can move naturally with the horse’s body. Stretching the CoverAid during application may restrict natural movement and cause unnecessary tension on the skin.
- Leave in place
LTS KoldAid can provide cooling for up to 4 hours. Check the area and your horse regularly during use. - Remove after use
Gently remove the CoverAid and KoldAid patch. CoverAid is designed to release without unnecessarily pulling the horse’s hair.
Important Information
LTS KoldAid and LTS CoverAid are single-use products and should be discarded after use. Do not reuse them.
Apply only to clean, intact skin. Do not apply to open wounds unless specifically advised by a veterinarian.
Always monitor your horse during use and discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs.
For injuries, persistent swelling, heat, pain or lameness, consult your veterinarian.
Storage
Store unopened LTS KoldAid patches in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
No refrigeration or freezing is required.
Always check the expiry date printed on the packaging before use.
