LTS LiteAid – User Manual

Product Information

The LTS LiteAid is designed to support light therapy treatment for muscle soreness, ligament injuries, and inflammation. The device uses two different light wavelengths:

  • 660 nm (Red Light)
  • 850 nm (Infrared Light)

These wavelengths are commonly used in light therapy applications and are intended to support the body's natural healing processes.

The LTS LiteAid delivers 7.9 mW/cm² and requires approximately 15 minutes for cells to receive a maximum energy delivery of 10 joules (calculated from 3 joules).

Research has shown that prolonged treatment with lower output over an extended period can be more effective than short-duration treatment with higher output levels. The LTS LiteAid delivers photon energy gradually over time, allowing the body to continuously utilize the energy throughout the treatment period.

Treatment Time

Apply the LTS LiteAid directly to the treatment area and leave it in place for approximately 4–6 hours.

After treatment is completed:

  1. Remove the device from the treatment area.
  2. Turn the device off by re-inserting the plastic tab into the slot.
  3. The device can then be used again on another treatment area if battery capacity remains.

Battery Information

The LTS LiteAid contains a small, non-rechargeable battery.

Important information:

  • Each device contains approximately 8 hours of battery life
  • The battery is not rechargeable
  • Remove the battery before disposing of the device
  • Dispose of the battery and device according to local electronic recycling regulations

Instructions for Use – Human Application

Before applying the LTS LiteAid:

  1. Thoroughly clean the treatment area to remove dirt, oils, and debris.
  2. Allow the skin to dry completely.
  3. Remove the protective backing from the device.
  4. Place the device directly onto the desired treatment area.

The adhesive gel patch is designed for single use only.

Additional gel patches are included in the box. Before applying a new gel patch:

  1. Remove the used gel patch completely.
  2. Attach a new gel patch to the device.
  3. Reapply as needed.

Instructions for Use – Horse Application

Due to fur, the LTS LiteAid may not adhere effectively to a horse's coat. Sports tape is therefore recommended to secure the device.

For application:

  1. Position the device over the desired treatment area.
  2. Secure the device using sports tape.
  3. Use sufficient tape to ensure the device remains securely in place.

For ligament injuries:

  • Avoid wrapping the tape too tightly around the horse's leg, as this may restrict circulation.

After 4–6 hours, remove both the device and the tape.

Safety Information

The low-output design of the LTS LiteAid is intended to provide gentle treatment and should not generate heat levels that burn or damage the skin during normal use.

Please note:

  • The adhesive gel patch contains latex rubber
  • Do not use the product if you have a known latex allergy
  • If skin irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately and remove the device
